I saw Harry Potter 5 yesterday and much to my surprise... enjoyed it.
I think what made it better than the previous four films was that it didn't feel like a Harry Potter movie. I don't know quite how to explain it, but it was just different from the others. It seemed like they didn't try to rely just on the franchise's popularity to make money, but Yates (the director) actually tried to make a good movie.
It's all the hype. It's a huge franchise - not to mention that it's coupled with Book 7 coming out next week. I don't know about over in the States, but here in Australia about every single news program put out a story about Harry and his pals.

I wish that they would have had the entire Department of Mysteries battle. If you read the book, you know what I am talking about. All the differant departments, all of them running. I also wanted to see Dumbledore make the statues come alive and fight too. Thqat would have been awesome also
