[Major Despard]

Caleb walked through the hallways. Grabbing his bag, he descended the stairs and stepped into the cold air of a winter morning. What had just happened? It was as if he was in some bizarre world where imagination became reality.

As ridiculous as it sounded, he was sure it had happened. How else could he explain that he now had twenty dollars instead of ten? He thought back on it. He had been emptying his wallet, desperately hoping that he would find some spare change. Ten dollars then. Twenty now. He had began talking out loud. It was a habit he had from when he was young. Talking to Joshua. It was the way he amused himself.

And then he was there. Joshua had stood before him, mirroring his own surprised expression. He dropped a ten dollar bill onto the floor and in an instant he was gone. Only ten dollars before. Now there were twenty. It shouldn't have happened. But it did.

He hurried off down the street and ran headfirst into someone else.

OOC: Hoorah! Let's hope some more people follow the lead. And at the moment, I guess we should just try to create a basis for a major event of some sort. For Caleb, he is only just coming to terms with his power, so this may be a bit of an 'origin' story vehicle for him.

Caleb looked into the face of the stranger. It bore a grim countenance and as Caleb ran hurriedly off, muttering an apology under his breath, the stranger looked after him.

Quickly, thought Caleb, Just run. Get on the bus. Take the first one, wherever it will go. Get out of here. Before he finds me too.

It was two days ago that he found out what had happened to his brother. His brother had been travelling in Texas. They found his dead body, mutilated, semi-decapitated. Who knows how long ago he had actually died? Nobody would tell him anything. Only that Jeph was dead.

Tragic, yes, but what frightened him more was that Jeph had told him a secret. Before he had left, Jeph had told him that something had happened to him. Something amazing. And now something amazing had happened to Caleb. He needed to get away before someone found him.

Kara was so happy for the chance to get away that she jumped before she even knew it. It was a long flight, with a stopover in Los Angles. But finally she arrived. Landing in Sydney she quickly went to The Observatory Hotel and checked into her room and unpacked.

Getting a call from her family she hurries to the airport and catches a flight with a connection to Philly.

Ryan Fletcher was walking down the streets of Sydney when someone suddenly slammed into him. Ryan looked at him strangely as the stranger continued running through the streets. Where's he going? Ryan ran after him. "Hey, you! Wait up!"

Caleb stood nervously in the line at the bus station, eyeing the two ten dollar bills in his hand. He looked over his shoulder and stopped dead. The man he had run into was making his way towards him. Without thinking, Caleb ran.

"Hey, wait up!" cried the man.

Caleb didn't wait. He just started running. And fell. Lying sprawled on the ground, he looked up into the sky. The man approached him slowly.

Ryan reached toward the stranger, who now lay on the ground. "You okay, man?"
