'Cloverfield', JJ Abrams' "secret movie", with preview before Xformers and viral site!

So did ya catch the shaky cam footage for this Bad Robot production before Transformers?

theJollity at 9thW did some sleuthin' and made a thread about it there. The viral sites associated with Cloverfield is http://ethanhaaswasright.com and http://ethanhaaswaswrong.blogspot.com, and since she did a sweet job of getting the info, I'll just quote her:

It caught me, so I did a bit of research on it, and so far what I've got is that it's a "secret project" of Abrams' (of Lost and Alias fame), and its working title is Cloverfield.

The trailer was first released during Transformers movies.
I don't know about you, but I'm really intrigued by this... can't wait to see what it actually is.

Ethan Haas? That's weird.....it's the name of one of the characters in The Class.

Anyway, this movie looks awesome. I gotta watch that trailer again....

EDIT: I tried those puzzles. I did the first one fairly quickly, but the second one is way too time-consuming. I gotta give J.J. Abrams credit. He made a damn good mystery.

Crazy movie everyone in the movie community is going nuts over it. It looks like a major monster movie from Abrams. I'm guessing a "parasitic alien creature from outer space" type of deal. Or maybe one that came to Earth many years ago and is just now waking up (probably due to global warming or something "timely" like that).

I solved all five puzzles (after finding the answers on another website, of course). Those videos are kinda creepy. I'm getting way too interested in this movie. I'm starting to scare myself.

Paramount Pictures is going crazy trying to take down the trailer bootlegs on youtube. Supposedly the movie could be about Voltron or some book by a guy named Lovecraft.

My guess is that it'll eventually be called "The Parasite" and be about an alien creature from outer space. I'm still thinking Abrams might do a "global warming wakes up the alien" type of plotline. He's "irreverent" that way.

The clues that Abrams hid in the trailer and on the various websites are so weird. Aliens are a possibility, but it seems to me that it's somehow related to the Book of Revelations and the devil.
