Hmm.. I was thinking
Peter Petrelli got the power to heal when he saved the cheerleader, as seen when he is stabbed by the glass from Syllar, However in this episode it shows that five years in the future he has a large scar across his face. This would not be possible as any cut he received would have completely healed.

Um I thought it was because in the that future Sylar kills Claire before Peter can get to her so Peter never gets her power. It's the whole reason why FutureHiro finds Peter and tells him to save the cheerleader.

Yeah, in the 5 year future episode Hiro didnt travel back in time to tell Peter to save Claire and so Sylar kills Claire. Its explained simple enough in the episode.

Scar Peter looked cooler anyway. I would say he was almost worth the Chuck Norris approval.

Yeah, thats the bit that I posted about once, that because hiro did go back in time peter did save claire so none of that future stuff would have happened anyway.
