All About The ShowFor all news, stories, and discusions concerning the show. DO NOT: I REPEAT, DO NOT: MAKE THREADS ABOUT SPECIFIC EPISODES HERE. THERE IS A SEPARATE (BELOW) FORUM FOR THAT.
I don't know if any of you follow the Heroes graphic novels. But I've read all of them from volume 1 all the way to the most recent one.
The recent issue called Betty came out:
A girl named Betty focused and thought about things as she stares at the popular girl in High School and terrible things happened to her target.. but then she pulls it right away and the girl was all back to normal in a split second.
what is her power? thought projection? human body control?
My first thought was that she's Candice. She used illusion to make it appear to that mean cheerleader that her face was erupting in growths, so she's got the exact same power.

I think it's Candice also - though her power is not as controlled yet - she can only do simple things. Betty can only do things within eyeshot - Candice can keep up illusions without even being in the room (with Micah in Kirby Building).
I think she said something about negative thought projection. As in when she's thinking negatively about someone, like the girl in the toilets, then her negative thoughts towards them become reality, such as thinking what she would feel like if she was all warty and spoty.
I thought someone already made a thread like this..oh well Betty=Candice. When Candice changed into the fat black woman, she told Micah that who's to know if this is what she really looks like. So the chance of Candice being a fat chick comes to mind.

Candice isn't fat anymore. Her "hot" appearance has already been imprinted into her subconscious. That's why she didn't change to her old self when she got knocked out by Niki.
