Just to let y'all know, I am heading out to the border of Saskatchewan/Northwest territories next thursday for 6 weeks.
I got a very odd job cooking for a geological surveying team. Pays amazing and i get to see wilderness crap.
I am not big on the whole camping thing, but when someone pays you enough you will smile and take it.
It will be cold and black fly season. There will be huge mosquitoes and i have to sleep on the ground in a bag. I have to bathe in the lake and i am phobic of water. There will be bears constantly running through the camp and moose rummaging in our ****. I have to take a floater plane,(have i mentioned my hydrophobia?) and i have never flown before.
Knowing myself, i am already a nervous wreck about it.
But! Bright side! I will get myself out of debt.
Thats about it.
So farewell!
Adieu!
Assuming I do not die a horribly fire-y death, get eaten by assorted different carnivores, trampled by a moose, tuberculosis, tetnus, or murdered by a grizzled old man living in a mountain cabin ala burt reynolds, I shall talk to you all again in august.
Best wishes and dont forget me!
*waves jauntily*

Aren't the Wendigo and Sasquatch totally different? I don't know, I just saw this episode of Supernatural and the Wendigo doesn't look like any interpretation of the Sasquatch that I've seen before.

I always thought Sasquatch, Bigfoot, and Wendigo were the same thing.
In Supernatural, the mythology behind the Wendigo was that they used to be humans, but they became stranded high up in mountains and had to eat other people in order to survive. The cannibalism gave them strength and allowed them stay alive, but it totally deformed them. Of course, we all know the story behind Sasquatch and Big Foot. Just some big, hairy dudes.
