If this really is true, I can only think of a couple explanations. Kensei has a Ra's Al Ghul thing going on from Batman Begins and he has decoys of him for protection. Or his ability is moving his consciousness into new host bodies.

At least she got the casting right. She broke the news that he's joining the cast before anyone else, so I'll give her credit for that.

This is no bearing on Kristin's credibility. For the past two weeks the name that not only her but other sources have given this character was "Kane", which when you think about it could've obviously been just a codename all along released by the producers hoping to keep the secret. Apparently it did not work.

She might have it right BOTH times. If Kensei/Kane is 1,000 years old, he could be Kensei in the past, and Kane in the present. So he meets Hiro in Feudal Japan, and meets him again in the present. Makes sense to me.
