-"The Organization's specified interrogation room"-


The room, erg. It's so, dark...why? how? I, can't think right.

" "Leon", that is the name you've called yourself no?"

It's "him"!

"Sir!"

" "Leon", you've been faithful to me all your life. I've raised you, brought you up, grown you to the man you are now. You've been like a son to me. But I'm dissapointed in you "Leon". That, you would go outside of your orders...why? No, do not answer. I've never been one to care for answers."

I could hear him sighing, I pictured him running his hand through what little hair he had.

"Disappointment, has always been met with an iron fist. I've never backed down from punishment, and I'm not about to."

"You're assignment went well at first, but you just has to go and interfere in "their" business' didn't you?"

"Sir! It's not right! You. . ."

"Don't question me! I've raised you your entire life, you will not question my methods or ethics. As you've been taught. . ."The world is much larger than you believe. It's extends beyond purely good versus evil." You worked for me "Leon". "

Worked?!

"Our partnership, your placement in this family, is over with "Leon". You will stay in this room until you are dead. You truly were a son to me "Leon", but you were obviously not the right one."

"But sir! The project! What about "Project Quantum?" "

"No, I do not rely on you alone. My resources extend far beyond you "Leon". I made you and now you will be unmade. I will find a new "Leon". One that will not disappoint me."

"Sir"

"Do not call me by that name any longer. Have a good after life, if there may so be one, you deserve one."

I heard the clatter of a door shuffling shut.

I did what I had to do. He was like a father, but, I feel refreshed now. Heh, feels weird thinking that, since I usually feel that way after a light session. But it's true, ever since, ever since helping them, I feel, refined. I feel as though I've done the right thing.

The lack of light, was suffocation...I could barely breathe. I became aware of the warmth on my face, blood. I could see nothing, smell nothing. It felt as though my chest was being forced upon by, a large weight.

I felt my eyes slowly start to close. Opening my eyes had gotten harder and harder over time. I...couldn't breathe, but I didn't struggle, I had done a good thing. Slowly, I couldn't think anymore.

"He" stepped into the room. He took something from his pockets and planted it in "Leon's" arm.

"This room was lined with solar panels to absorb any light he may have been giving off. Yes, he is dead. Get him out of my building, toss him to the sea."

"Leon" was loaded into a cargo bin of some sort.

The cargo was loaded onboard an unmarked shipments vessel crossing the seas back into the US.

Along the way, the ship travelled through random weather which coincidentally caused some cargo to be lost to the sea forever, one piece of cargo, that resembled a casket. "Leon", whoever he is, was lost to the sea forever.

Chapter ? "Old Friends"
As I flew towards the location, I began thinking.

All these years, my death was made only to bring up another heir, my best friend. Now he's been killed off and they need me? It was so simple in the old days of "him". But now, power has become involved, a battle of power. I will end this, and the organization, will be renewed.

As always, the headquarters could not be seen.. The weather changed to, from snow, to rain, to glaring sun, and this time, it stayed. The defenses were active, trying to wear me down and make me take another route, as they should've. The HQ's cloak was active, but these defenses were not going to keep me out.

"Looks as though some things do never change." I said

I flew straight into the building and materialized through a wall. I could see a few men walk past, and once they did I knocked both of them out, taking what I needed and moving along. I was able to grab a clearance card for the elevator. Getting in the bottom wouldn't be hard, but in the higher levels, a field keeps energies like mine from penetrating it.

I walked into the elevator to see nobody there, I began rising in levels.

Suddenly alarms blared. I smiled and began to adjust my tie but realized that I was not wearing one. Once the elevator door opened, twenty men were standing in front of it with light guns aimed at me. They opened fire upon me and each bullet pieced my dark flesh. They seared and burned. I fell to the ground.

One of the men came towards me, he used his foot to kick me over. At that point I pulled his foot into the ground leaving it there and flew towards the ceiling. I had the element of surprise. I swung around knocking about six or seven men into the walls, and knocking the rest down with teleports and fists.

I quickly made my way through various walls until I reached the front gates to the main room. The door was unlocked.

"Obviously, something's not right." I said

But I knew I had to do it.

I stepped in yelling "Alright, where's the trap?!".

I began to shift my powers again.

"Niel."

As I looked over, a blinding light hit my senses and a punch threw me into the wall.

I looked up, my eyes were adjusting enough.

"Who, are you?"

"An old friend" the bright specter said as another light punch hit me in the gut, and then I was thrown into the ceiling and across the room.

Wait, it couldn't be, could it?

"Leon?" I asked

Chapter ? "Reunited"

If it was Leon, I was in much more trouble than I anticipated.

"Hmph, Niel. . ." he said

"Leon, listen, we have to stop this, the organization, we aren't what we used to be."

"What we used to be?! And what was it that we used to be?! We harvested grand powers for ourselves to keep them from entering common society, what kind of people are we?" He said

"I know, but "he" had an idea, a plan."

"It's no use now, he's dead, it's only me and you, and, the new leader."

"He's no leader, he's a power hungry emperor, once he has enough powers he'll kill you as well!" I said

"They tried it once, and failed."

"No, they brought you back, and somehow, are using you or something. You'd never do this Leon!"

He phased in front of me and had me at the throat

"Don't tell me what I would and wouldn't do. We were brothers, and you had to go off and die, or at least, that's what I was told. You've been hiding your existence from me for my entire life since then." He said

"I, didn't know" I tried to mouth out

"Oh don't give me your bull. You were just another pawn in that organization's strive to make me into who I am today. Congratulations ex-brother, your mission was a success."

He let me go, and hit me with his other hand. I flew over a counter into a wall.

I looked him in the eyes.

"Leon, I didn't know anything, I was being manipulated as well, but I accepted that possibility when I joined the organization, I carry no regrets, only that you got wrapped into this the way you have."

I began letting my own powers show, absorbing shadows, creating more light. Darkness weaved it's way into my flesh, my sights became shadow. I was a creature of black.

"I'm done trying to convince you, I'm here to rebuild what the organization once was. If you stand in my way, I'll have to stop you."

He to began fully becoming a creature of light. Beams and streams of light became him. He was a being of white, purity and light.

"You will try, and on this mission you will fail."

Chapter ? "Opposing Power"

I flew towards him, strings of darkness lingering off of me. He wrapped around me in light, I began to burn. The room shifted of gray. A lack of both lights and shadows, we could see it in our eyes but it was, impossible to express.

I weaved into the ground and began seeping, creating cracks and tears. I burst into it throwing shadowed boulders at Leon. He dodged the first and second but I anticipated his moves and hit him with a third throw. Our powers left scars on both of us, shadows poisoning his light, and light tearing at my shadow.

My hand pierced his stomach, the shadows seeping into him from the inside. He threw his arms into my shoulders, lighting me from the inside. We were each other's equal, opposing powers, opposites.

We both broke off after we could bare it no more and were both thrown back.

His light body began to reconstruct itself while my body reattached together.

"This, will never end Niel." He told me

"I must try."

We charged exchanging blows to the face, the gut, the back of our legs, anything that was hit. Soon, it seemed we both left our marks on eachother, and it felt like we were looking in mirrors. All lights and shadows had been absorbed, the room changed radiances of a gray.

He tried sifting behind me but once he phased, lingering shadows on him pierced into him causing him to go into his normal light state. I took this oppurtunity to charge him and kick him straight in the head. Specks of light flecked off his face and were reabsorbed into him.

I jumped onto his stomach with my legs and then repeatedly punched him in the face. I could hear my name in my head "Niel,...Niel!......Niel"

He reached his hand towards the ceiling, as though calling to some sort of God in the sky, and it was at that point, that I realized, he had been calling my name.

"Niel, kill me, now."

"What? But you were just. . ." I tried to say

"I know!" he interuppted, "I'm, being used, by the new boss, the traitor. He revived me, and used me to kill "him". I, couldn't do anything. He and a few other traitors had used me as a pawn, and, I couldn't control myself. Once I was alive, he killed his comrades, and took their powers. Now he's got the entire facility under his thumb."

"Why didn't he kill you?" I asked

"Because, he wanted you to be the one to kill me, or me to be the one to kill you. He's that cold hearted. Everything you said about the new organization is true." He told me

"Ahhhh!" He cried out in pain "Kill me now! "He" purposefully created us like this, polar opposites. If you kill me, you can have my ability! Ahhh"

"I can't kill you Leon! Let's do this together!" I said

"We will my friend, but as long as I'm alive we'll be enemies."

"I, think, I understand" I told him

"Heh, good, you never were one for quick explanations, do it."

I thrust my arm into his chest, taking in, the light, at first it burned, but he cooled it, and it intertwined into the shadows, living together. Slowly, his light faded, until all that was left, was a limp, dead body.

"Leon, my old friend, thank you. You've made the greatest sacrifice of all for the company, rest now."

I will kill this traitor.
