Default What I think really happened to Sylar(potential spoiler)

After Sylar gets "killed" by Hiro, all of his victims and himself can be seen flashing in his eyes. Now, I saw another thread where people think that this means he saw his future, and allowed Hiro to kill him. My theory's a little different.

SPOILER ALERT!! click this to show it -->
I think what it actually means is that he has lost the powers he has gained from other heroes, and maybe even his memory. I think this because I've seen this from characters of his type before. In the anime Dragon Ball Z, there is a character called Buu who would absorb other people and their powers. Other warriors had snuck into his body to steal back the warriors who were absorbed, so that they could defeat him. In the Teen Titans cartoon, there was a character called the Master of Games, who had a special amulet that would absorb heroes and their powers. when the amulet was destroyed, he lost all the powers and the heroes were returned.

Now, wouldn't it make sense for the same to happen to Sylar? He may border on being overpowered if he continues to collect more powers next season. But if he loses his previous powers, the Boogeyman will have to go back to the shadows and start from scratch. If he loses his memory, it's possible he could even wind up on the good guy's side.

What do you think?

its very interesting and could be very true. although, the writers tend to want to be unique, as you say, people have done it before...

Cool Re: What I think really happened to Sylar(potential spoiler)

Since we have no evidence either way--and no way to test any hypotheses--this is a possibility.

I suspect he still has all his powers, but we won't really know until--or if--he makes an appearance next season.

That is definitely a plausible explanation.
