Figured it mad emore sense to keep this all in one spot than to randomly post my unfortuituousness.

Well i am unemployed, again, and still owe my babysitter $430 (canadian :P) for babysittng for the last crappy job i had.
I check my pitiful bank account to find out if i had any money for milk and i see a -$280. My student loan cam eout. Which it wasnt supposed to.
So i now have to spend at least 2 hours on the phone with the loan centre and the bank today to get this sorted out

i enrolled in the sumer semester of school to finish up my diploma and found out i would NOT be recieving any financial aid. So i go to the office yesterday to drop out and find out that I still owe them my tuition fees of $900. Apparently I should have dropped out in the first 5 days of classes. I was still tryng to figure out a way to make it work then!
The topper is that if i dont pay the $900 plus an addtional $300 by July 1st, I cannot go to school this september.
I told them i had to drop out because i couldnt pay the rest of my tuition. Wy the bloody hell do i still have to pay it then? I am not going to classes?

I have a welfare appt on tues. I still have not paid rent for may yet.

best part? welfare pays my rent sure, but i am left with a grand total of $95 for the rest of the month for groceries and to pay any other bills i have. And trust me there are many.

*sigh*

Just tryng to get an education so i dont have to go on welfare. Anyone seeing the irony here?

That's awful. I hate money problems. Especially when they're not your fault.

Since your school is making you pay the $900, can you just continue to take the classes this summer? Our schools don't offer any financial aid for summer classes, either. It's pretty lame.

Well hun, I know that here in the states we can go to churches for food and sometimes for bill assistance. You can try them and see if they will give you some help on that score. Another thing is to win the lottery (Always an option...not a probable one but it is on the table). I am sorry that I am unfamilar with Candian services or else I would be researching some ways to get you some help hun. If nothing else, I will be sending you some prayers and some faith that you will pull through this.

the churches here are very wary.........
the food bank only lets you get food ONCE A MONTH. seriously.
and the one church only does it TWICE A MONTH.

o, did i mention that my car is in the shop? I need new brakes. The guy i bought it from said they were new. he lied :P

Well, then it is time to look for that dreaded word: Roommate.

I know. I know. One time I lived in a two bedroom apartment with four other people BUT it helped to keep a roof over my head and helped me get some money in my pocket. That is until my roommate's weed habit got so bad that they kept asking for more and more money "for the bills" but ended up in their pipe *rme*

The moral of the story is that if you find someone who can help you with the bills and is a decent person? GET THEM! lol

i live in a 2 bedroom with my kid. there is no room for a mate. besides i am antisocial. i have done the roomate thing before. it nevers ends well

Yes, I agree that the roommate plan didn't work out too well before...from what I recall. (no, people, it wasn't me)

i get annoyed easily. I am not sure if other peoples actions annoy me because of their stupidity and utter lack of common sense or if i am too touchy about ****.

I always wondered if it woul dhave worked out if i hadnt of gotten so pissy over the little things. They just built up until i exploded.

-eating the last of something and not telling me. So i go to eat the last piece of pizza/pie/ leftovers and its not there
-not helping in keeping the main part of house clean
-playing music loud when they know i had to work early
-borrowing a movie and not returning it (always happened when i wanted to watch said movie)

just stuff like that. i would get so freaking furious at this and just lose it
