Re: Private: Mathy and tob
M sits in his office, half-eaten gyro on a small plate next to a newly-filled glass of shiraz, scrawlings of some formulas that led to another dead-end on the chalkboard, and the Internet radio tuned to Retro-Active. As he hums the end to "Enola Gay", the song "I Want to Be a Cowboy" begins playing.
hrm...I wonder what my brother is doing?
A news story flashes across his Internet news link. The picture is of a lovely young lady but the text of the story isn't very uplifting.
Lovely haircut. *sigh* Well, I hope she gets through it unscathed.
This is just the sort of situation in which my brother would try to help. He's very dependable that way.

Re: Private: Mathy and tob
"Leroy," tob says to his horse; This looks like a job for one of those superheroes, but I don't know any so whatta say we give it a whirl?" Leroy nods his consent (odd, but he nods whenever you ask him any question) and Tob jumps into the saddle. "In the city, yuck. I better stop in and see my brother and put that big ol brain of his to work."
With a flick of his heels Leroy moves off at a trot and Tob tips his hat low to block the sun. He wanders how on earth he is gonna find a place in New York to put his horse at night.

I know he'll need a stable for Leroy if he drops by--the super got really upset after what happened the last time we let Leroy stay in the lobby. My cat Fractal will probably be glad to see Leroy, too. I should put them on Pet Star, because how many cats will ride on the back of a horse holding the lead in its mouth?
M places a CD into the stereo and settles into his armchair, the angelic sounds of Bach played on a glass harmonica filling the air.
That buzzing noise is back, telling me that I should do something. Perhaps a little preliminary information would suffice. It can't hurt to locate a phone number and offer help in person; the worst that could happen is to be told "no, thank you".
