IC: Welcome to The Elementals. This group is open only to those who wield the power to manipulate their environment (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Electricity). My name is Richard Hollaway (Character's name), and I wish dor us to develop our elemental powers into an unstoppable and world changing force. In the wake of sucha great disaster, the crisis in New York, the world needs people to guide them. Who better than those that know its workings?
OOC: If you wish to join, message me with your characters profile and we can work out a meeting in the RPG.

MasterCombine, I'm sorry but I don't think this will work. We already have one organization in the rpg that doesn't actually exist in the Heroes show. Unfortunately we can't have another. If you wanted to start OWI, then that would be fine. I'm just trying to keep this rpg as close to the show as possible. I already screwed up by allowing the Syndicate to be created. Hope you're not pissed at me!

Organization Without Initials. It's basically the Company in the show. They were the people who bagged-and-tagged the supers. That's pretty much all anyone knows about them though, so it would be difficult to run it.
Ummm not to be an a** or stir up trouble or a controversy. But don't u think our SLs are moving faster since we don't write for an hour once a week. If the hero writers took our stories, there would be more than one season/23 episodes worth of work. Think about it, when heroes started if it came on everyday, even for an hour, by now we would be into a 3rd or 4th season of it.
Does anyone think that groups will form on show eventually? I mean I'm fine without creating my own team, but I just think that its inevitable, teams forming that is.
In the future, weren't they a group?? But they were always referred to as terrorist.
I know we are supposed to write according to the show, but its gonna be really hard since its going to be off all summer, we won't have anything to follow. Just my opinon for now.
Yeah I don't think we need to be the show, but I think it would help to try and follow it's writing style and method. They have a very unique way of developing their characters.

I agree. ((Not to stir any drama)) The show focuses on the lives of just a few of the heroes in the world. There are many other and there are probably many groups and many organziations that just haven't been brought up yet. I think we could go with both ideas and this would make the Rp move faster and then when season 2 starts we'll use the theme or big story there and transfer it into the rp. We all tried to do the bomb thing because we all thought the bomb was going to happen, and it didn't and some of the rp's were thrown off a bit because some had already said buildings had gone down and stuff. We should try to follow the show as closely as possible but also have freedom to write our own stories of our characters. No two characters should be alike and if we follow exactly what the show shows us we'll be left with constant cliff hangers and disappointments because Kring usually shows us how seriously wrong we can be about something... ie New York exploding.

Power(s): Like his twin brother Tristan, his powers are torn between two elements. Instead of light and dark, his derrive from fire and ice.
And to throw my two cents into things, I feel that maybe we should NOT keep fully to the show. In other words, just simply diverge our storyline from that of the storyline established at the end of the last episode. The reasoning is similar to the situation that has already been faced: The Bomb. In our rp, we say it happened. In the show, it never did. So what hapens if Kring suddenly says that all metas are scions of Atlantis? But we established they are mutated from the solar eclipses? Then does that mean we have to retcon things to fit our rp into the story of the show? It would be pretty confusing.
Simple solution though....and this has been established in the show as well: alternate timelines.
In OUR timeline? The Bomb went off. Boom. New York is now New Crater. Fine. But what if ours is a result of someone interfering (or preventing others from interfering) in our timeline? This would let us diverge and develop the gameworld as to what we see fit. The Syndicate can form...the Elementals can be formed (Which I wish I could join considering that is the name of the BEST COMIC EVER OF ALL TIME)...hell, suppose those of us who just killed some guy outside of Houston formed a group? It seemed to me that DL, Nicki, Peter, Claire, HRG and Hiro formed a pretty decent ad-hoc group themselves.
These are my two cents and I am sure there will be disagreement and I am nto saying that this is how it should be or will I argue for this point but I am simply tossing a suggestion out there for the PTB (Powers That Be for those of you non-Buffy/Angel fans) to debate and consider as an option to help alleviate the confusion about things.
Yeah, I agree. Following the general storyline of the show would be good, but adhering to cloely to it would be too restricting IMO. I think we should at least be allowed to form our own groups.
