We've seen some powers being "shared" through physical interaction, i.e. Ando being able to travel through time with Hiro, and Niki phasing through walls with D.L. I wonder if this is something that every hero can do, or if it's only limited to certain powers. If everyone can do it, then there a good chance that Nathan will be back next season, since he would regenerate while Peter was, provided he doesn't let go.

Phasing and healing are different. Peter and Claire can only heal themselves, not others. Linderman is the only one (as far as we know) that can heal other people. But Nathan could be back anyway. Kring could just make it so that he flew away and avoided the explosion after he flew Peter up.

I think that it's limited to the power. Regeneration is one thing, healing is another thing.

I don't think Nathan will make it cause Pieter's and Claire's healing powers are only self-regeneration not other.

We haven't seen them try to regenerate with other people, though.

I agree that they probably can't transfer their powers. But those who can seem somewhat arbitrary, for the sake of the story line. Is invisibility transferable? Could Micah hold hands with someone and they both manipulate different machines?

both of the cases you bring as examples can be passed off as not sharing

For Hiro, anything he touches comes with him, otherwise he would end up naked every time he teleports. It is the same principle when he takes Ando. If he was sharing his power, I think Ando would have noticed something by now (I mean, wouldn't you try doing it if you hung out with Hiro all the time?)

For D.L, his power seems to be "liquefying" the things that he passes through, not actually changing himself. Otherwise, Niki would not be able to pass through the wall with him. If his actual power was altering his own body and shared by touch, he wouldn't have been able to kill Linderman.

Yes, apparently it is. In episode 22, when the cops jump Ted, Peter disappears into sight and Claire becomes invisible with him

I would concur. Apparently some powers are "shareable"--phasing, teleportation, invisibility--while others are not--regeneration, telepathy, super-strength, mechanical control.

it makes sense though

anything that is touching hiro goes with him cloths sword etc so of course ando would go was well

DL cloths go through the wall with him as does anything else that is touching him

peters cloths are invisable when he does it as well also when claude was stealing stuff anything he touched because invisable

so yes some powers are shared by touch but i doubt all are shared by touch for example if someone touches nathan can they fly no nathan would have to fly while holding them

The part about Nathan was shown at the end of the first episode when Nathan could not hold onto Peter and Peter fell.
