Ok so I'm computer iliterate so I can't post a picture from last night's episode but at the end the last 2 mins, Hiro teleports to the 17 century and is stuck between the Japanese and Kensei. in the last few seconds the do a close up of Kensei's face and I am absolutely certain that it is Hiro's dad. I believe that Papa Nakimuara is Kensei, it kinda folds in very well considering his father consistantly told him stories of him and he looks up to him as a hero, and well most kids growing up look up to their dads as heroes. But if papa Nakimuara is Kensei, then I assume that his power would be imortality??? which would be pretty frickin awesome, what do you think???

I think hiro needed to go back into time and see how powerful his family legacy is so he can believe more in himself, Kinda like when peter went back to talk to simones father in the last episode. In episode 22 hiros dad said “I was waiting for a Nakamura to show their power.” I think that kensi is some how related to hiro possibly his great great great grand dad or something like that I don’t think its his dad. I don’t know much about immortality, but if hiro’s dad was immortal then would he have aged like he did?? Wouldn’t he still look young??

Well i agree but i like the theory. What if Hiro's dad was that age when the eclipse hit. Maybe he stopped aging but he was already almost 40. I know my dad can move and fight and kick butt like that and he's 56.

Only problem if he was Kensai then would Hiro of bettered him with a sword so quickly? Kensai was supposed to be the best, doubtful that hiro could get to his level in a couple of hours.

I came to the exact same conclusion. The weird way their conversation was worded makes it sound like Hiro's father has been around for a very long time. The "Waiting for one of my children" really seems to infer he's had more than Hiro and his Sister as children.

My theory is he's either an immortal, or a fellow time-jumper like Hiro.

The position of the eyes in the kensei and hiros dad pictures is exactly the same, and they look exactly the same too :o
