Hey everyone. I know a lot of us started our stories as if the bomb happened. As a suggestion, I think we should act as if someone had created a huge illusion, and that it didn't actually happen. That way some won't have to start all over. My story is ok I think. I didn't base my story around the bomb, i did mention it though. I would really hate to continue a timeline where the bomb did happen. Well what do the rest of you all think?

Well A bomb 'did' go off. It just didn't decimate new york. It could still have a very big impact in society.

Yeah, I'm just gonna go with how a nuclear bomb did explode. It just happened "over" New York instead of on the ground. I don't think it's really a big deal though. We can easily adjust. Now that the season's over, we don't have to wait until every episode to move the story forward.

I may not be a mod or an admin but I think I may have a way to fix the problem.

introduce a character who also has control of time or someway to communicate with the past. The characters who are already in play could be contacted by this person. Key events and such could also be introduced. This person could warn about the bomb and you can fill in the blanks. Everything would take place in the past so the current threads would become obsolete. People could even have a chance to change their character (maybe). This is my take on it I suppose. In the end the bomb is averted in someway caused by the characters here.

Well, even a nuclear explosion in the air would devaste a city below.

Ikin does have a point. There would still be fallout, just not as much as a ground explosion would cause.

I think that the RPG should continue as if the bomb did go off in the town (as Hiro sees it in the future). It will just cause less confusion and the storyline doesn't have to be changed. Tell me what you think...

Pretend that this is the bad future timeline

BUT it has just changed, New York is now safe and the bomb didn't devastate half the city

Since Hiro stabbed and possibly KILLED Sylar in the season finale.
That bad future has changed

And now whenever the people arrive to New York
they'll be like wtf NYC ain't destroyed.

And just continue on on our storylines

Hansen - the only problem with that is if the future changed, it wouldn't all-of-a-sudden change from devastation on the ground to "wtf? the bomb happened in the air!" Changing the future would alter everyone's memories and what happens to them after the explosion. Don't think we'd be able to pull that off.

And to Venom Mist - I think most people wanna keep up with the current Heroes timeline.

I think we should just carry on as normal. Just say that Parts of NY was destroyed to to the radiation above. Like OMG it was so powerful it toppled a few buildings or summat. I don't know i'm not a nuclear physisisisisist
