~~~I started this storyline .. cause it was hard to figure out where to come in on the other ones.~~~

Mercy Wilson
Pasadena California.

Mercy was in her bedroom crying. A few months ago she had discovered this abilitly a few months ago. Mercy had the power to make people change their minds without convincing them to do so, she could just look at them and it caused them to just do it.

Mercy was scared to death of this, she didnt want to be known as a freak or anything, she felt so confused about the whole thing. She also knew it would be a problem if she ever got a boyfriend. Here she was 17 and worrying about her future and stuff, when she now had this to deal with.

She decided she needed to go for a walk. Just to clear her head. SHe was hoping she didnt bump into anyone, she didnt want her power to be used. Just the other day she met a girl on the bus on her way home who found out her boyfriend was cheating on her. This woman was determined to dump him, but just one look at Mercy and decided to stay with him. This wasnt the first time that happened either. Mercy tried to play it off as conscidence but it wasnt and she knew that. She also had another power but she wasnt ready to even think about it.

She kept walking just trying to clear her head.

I am going to sue that cab driver company dropping me off in the middle of... where am i? I walked the streets of this california town having no idea where i was. I needed to catch the next flight out of LAX and get to JFK in NY. With everything happening his parents weren't picking up because they were too busy with one of their sister building collapsing.

Seeing a girl walking down the street he decided to push his luck and ask her.

"Hey, sorry to ask and bother you but do you know how i could get to LAX? My cell has no reception out here and i have no idea where I am."

Mercy looked at him a little startled at first. Then decided she would help him.

"Umm.. sure. It's not that far actually. If you want me to take you I can."

She looked into his eyes giving him a small smile.

"That'd be great. I can pay you too. I'm not from around here. I live in New York." Aiden said to the girl.

"My name is Aiden. What's your name?" He was just so glad to meet someone who was helpful.

"That's an unusual name... so how do we get to the airport? Will you be driving? If it's too much of a hassle you could always just point me in the direction of a pay phone so i could call a cab. My phone doesn't seem to get any signal here." Aiden was intrigued by this girl. Her name was different too.

"Actually, I can drive you. It's not that big of a deal. My cars at home though. I was just walking around mindlessly so we have to turn around and walk the other way to get their but its not too far.

She laughed a little too herself and pointed the other way.

"But, as we are walking.. you could tell me a little about yourself." She smiled.

"Well to be honest, I'm a bit worried. My parents own Hall hotels, and one of their sister building collapsed through the explosion in NY. Even since then i haven't been able to get a hold of them. Then the lame taxi cab driver who was supposed to be taking me to the LAX, dropped me off at some diner called Lex's. That's how I've gotten in this direction. I ran after him because he took my luggage and after a short while just gave up which is when i saw you. What about yourself. Why are you walking around aimlessly? A beautiful young girl like yourself should be with friends or something and out of this heat." Of course Aiden didn't really care for the heat. He'd been in much hotter situations.

She sighed.
"Well honestly I dont know why I was just walking around. I've just been so confused about everything and i feel like im on the verge of an emotional meltdown. For the whole hanging with friends thing, I do sometimes but it seems like lately i would just rather be by myself. I dont know."

She took a deep breath and closed her eyes then reopened them.

"I'm okay though, dont worry about me. You have other important things to deal with"

"I'm not going to push it because i know when i dont want to talk about something and someone pushes me to say it, it usually don't turn out well. Well when i lose it in general things don't turn out well. Is it odd to think that even before i knew about the explosion, something seemed to tug at my soul like i should get back? It's odd. I feel like i needed to be there. Like a power or something... what am i saying. I probably sound crazy talking about powers and what not." It was so easy opening up to her that Aiden almost spilled his own secrets.
