Okay, to be completely honest i'm not 100% sure if this is where i should be posting this but i will anyways.
My question is this. It's bugged me for awhile now too btw.
Earlier on in the season when HRG and the haitian had a hold of Nathan Petrelli, Nathan managed to escape by flying off. It's the big scene they always show when Nathan is meant to be mentioned. I don't understand it. Shouldn't the Haitian have stopped him from being able to do that or does the haitian have to concentrate of a metahuman to block his or her power.
My second question is this. Everyone who has two power seems to have some sort of tie between the two. Ie. Hiro's time and space kinda thing. What does power stopping and mind erasing have in common? Or can people just have two comepletly different powers?

I wonder... I don't know, I guess I figured his entire power range was rather... 'all in your head' kindof thing. You know, so he'd have more power over people with mental powers than those with physical powers. Just my doofy theory though.

I think for the Haitian he's really got to concentrate his powers. Nathan was running away and HRG and the Haitian were trying to catch him. When they finally caught up with him, the Haitian made an attempt by raising his hands but it was too late, Nathan flew off like a rocket.

I remember that, it was nice scene though. If the Haitian have to "activate" his power in order to work, like a switch, then.... I hope they explain that point in the second season.

That's what I think. Or it's possible that Nathan flying away just caught him off guard.
If someone catch me to fly away, believe me that I would scared at the point to bite him, kick him, scratch him, or use anything in my power to liberate me, and Sylar has a lot of tricks to do that. At least he is unconscious.
