Also i just wanted to add that, having one big catastrophe NY doesn't give much use to those who aren't there so I'm making up a catastrophe here and if it's not allowed then the Mods can delete this. I won't be upset, i promise.

Getting out of the pool, I hear a loud siren going off in the streets. Running out to the sidewalk I yell at the men in Army suits.
"What's going on?"
"You need to evacuate! There's a meteor shower that's about to hit!"

Thoughts come rushing through my mind... why are we being notified so late? This couldn't be natural. Just then i see a meteorite flying towards our neighborhood. I don't want to reveal anything to the army men, but i can't just let everyone die.

"Take cover boy!" The officer shouts.
Letting the sun warm my body, i create a field of light and heat energy surrounding everyone and there homes within 50 feet of where i was. I wish i could do more but i didn't even know if id be strong enough to stop a meteor. Stopping rain from landing me is one thing, meteorites is another.

As it crashes into the shield, i feel and see the shield bend like a force pushing on a bubble. I push with all my might and am able to ricochet it a few meters away. People begin to stare at me and i run back into the house. Now they see me as the freak i am.

Hansen just got home from work to his apartment. As he gets on his computer, he saw the terrible news of the new New York that had become a nuclear wasteland on CNN. After sitting in silence and disbelief. He called one of his friends Michael.

Hansen: "Hey did u hear bout new york?"

Michael: "yeah... it's sad.. are the terrorists to blame?"

Hansen: "probably..... So what are u gonna do?"

Michael: "bout what?"

Hansen: "the explosion of course."

Michael: "if there's anything i can do about it i would. But i'm nobody to be dealing with that stuff."

Hansen: "that's not true.. we should go.. when the Twin Towers collapsed I really couldn't do anything because i was halfway around the world. But now I'm in the country. I should do something and try to make a difference."

Michael: "so what're u gunna do? go back in time and stop the explosion?"

Hansen: "....No but i can help the nuclear victims somehow."

Michael: "where the **** are u gonna get the money to go over there.??"

Hansen: "Darn ur right..."

after gettin off the phone with Michael, he went to his bedroom and laid on his bed. He stares at the ceiling while thinking of various ways to get money quickly so he can buy the plane tickets to new york.
"Plane Tickets? They won't let anyone come to new york at the airport probably."

"So I need to find another way to get to new york. Drive? need money for gas. Bus? the Greyhound won't let me pass, just like how the airport wouldn't."

"hmm.. if i can't get any money to go.... I should hitch hike."

but who the hell is goin to new york at a time like this??

The next morning Hansen left for the downtown Greyhound station
He asked the information center:

Hansen: "Hey is there a bus to new york city?"
Employee: "No sir, the greyhound stations in new york has been destroyed by the bomb. Why do u want to go over there?"
Hansen: "well personal reasons.."
Employee: "............... I tell u what. There is though a bus to New Jersey or Philadelphia, PA, that's the closest to New York i can get you to."
Hansen: "How much will that cost?"
Employee: "One way? or Round trip?"
Hansen: "hm..... one way"
Employee: " $ 183.50 Not including tax to Philadelphia, PA."
Hansen: "what time does it leave?"
Employee: "At 12:15 I reccomend u to be back here by noon though."
Hansen: "Ok thanks."

Hansen gets out of the station

H: "Great now I gotta come up with 200 bucks in 4 hours."

Going in after the odd shower of meteorites, I went in to hear something strange on the news. Someone or something attacked NY. Could it be the same person who started the showers? Was it another metahuman?

I need to get up there and figure out what's going on. I've used this couples house far too long anyways. Time to go.

Walking out into the sunshine again in the backyard, I turn invisible and make my way to the Grey Hound station.

I find one that connects to Houston and then onwards to NY.

Getting on the train, I find my seat and wait patiently wondering what events are to come.

The first stop was going to be Houston. It was an odd treck up to NY but it was the cheapest route.
I put my ipod earphones on and began listening to songs and then shifted back and fourth to the radio to listen for any more attacks.

There wasn't anything mentioned except for a lot of people seem to want to be migrating to NY which was odd. If a catasrophe happens then you run. You don't run to it. Were other metahumans all going to the same place? It seemed like something was calling me there too. Hmm...

Um...Florida isnt the South. Geologicaly it is but ... well just remember that its not the South...its Northern Cuba.

Northern Cuba? How'd you come to that conclusion? I've never heard it referred to as that before.
