If we're gonna make a Heroes rpg, then we need to have some characters, won't we? This is the thread to do it. Here is a template that you guys can use to create your characters. In order to use the template, just quote this post and delete this first paragraph.

Invisibility- born with this has been mastering it since childhood canot be herd or smelt while in this form (he also can see others who are also invisible
Telekenisis- picked this up through the story by eating a small peice of grey meet given to him by a dying man he tried to help, still dosent know what he ate but is curious

Description: 5' 8"/1.72m, brown hair, brown eyes; typically wears work boots with jeans and a t-shirt. Chain smoker and binge drinker who spends time in various "biker bars". Warren has a PhD degree from Texas A&M in Chemical Engineering with an emphasis in Materials Science; he will usually have the latest professional journals with him for reading material. He has a couple of contacts in the local drug trade, creating specialty compounds for them...but also works with some local doctors on cases who need special compounds that are expensive or difficult to obtain. It is suspected that he also has military contacts, which could explain why he has thus far avoided any drug-related convictions. He has been known to attack those who annoy him with a mixture of nerve gases.

Power(s): Warren has the ability to transmutate matter--the ability to convert one substance into another at the molecular level. His power also internalizes itself, making him immune to poisons and toxins as his body defends itself--the cigarettes and alcohol have no effect on him whatsoever, a fact that actually irritates him. Warren's power is still limited by the law of conservation of mass, so converting one substance into another substance with a higher density reduces its volume...or expands it if converting to a lower density.

Warren's ability makes him extremely dangerous; his knowledge of chemistry only adds to this danger. He has been targeted for death by various drug cartels as he represents a threat to their limited distribution scheme. One attack against a cartel production plant outside Caracas in which several dozen people were gassed has been attributed to Warren; his travel visa shows that he was out of the country at that time but the State Department asserts that he was actually in Canada.

Name: Seymour Summons

Hero/Villain? VILLAIN!!! for now~ or forever~
Description: Stereotypical asian guy~ good-looking hair, good at math, art, enjoy's sci-fi, and instinctively born with the knowledge to fight (Kung Fu, Tae Kwon, Jujitsu... you name it~). (wow... sounds like Hiro... almost) He uses his powers like ANYONE else would... for his OWN benefits... He carries around a mini retractable umbrella (made of LBS Buckram and stainless steel) and a Lighter (though he doesn't smoke). He also has a single Caucasian ancestry... that explains his last name.



Power(s): Has the ability to summon avatars out of near by elements. The avatars communicate with him through psychic projections and audio abilities.
(Audio isn't very clear... since the Water avatar's sound is gargled; Fire avatar's sound is filled with crackles; Earth avatar's sound is mixed with a "Sand-Shuffling" sound... and Wind's avatar sounds like some1 talking with missing center teeth.

He discovered these abilities during puberty.

At first he had to have an element in his hand, concentrate on it, and it would take the form of a creature...

these creatures would possess the abilities and the personalities of the properties they were made of

He started with 2 elements, Water and Earth.



- water creatures would be able to slip through the tiniest cracks on doors and spy on the girl's locker room, reporting everything seen though the psychic projection ability they shared. ^_~)



- earth creatures could take the forms of armor. This comes in handy when being picked on by the school bully... he'd just let those numb-skulls punch his "Rock Hard" Abs~

As he grew older, he had developed enough to be able to summon the creatures just by being near an element. Needless to say, this allowed the summons to be larger then "just a handful".

He could summon creatures out of fire and wind now.

- the Wind creature was the most freed summon of them all. Due to the nature of it being invisible, it was always nearby, keeping a protective watch over it's master... and sending mental images of pantie shots it took as it blew pass them ^_^

- the Fire creature was... the trickiest of them all... kinda hard to find places or things that wouldn't go up in flames. It had a hot head... and a short Fuse... always wanting to fight fire with fire... with any1 that it didn't like... which was practically everything~ (excuse the puns) Luckily for his master, the fire creature was a natural born chef... it could control the temp of his flames... so it doesn't melt "most" of the kitchen utensils... (on a personal note, his Kabob's are SCREAMIN Hot... it doesn't seem to grasp the concept that it's master enjoys his kabob's with Mild H.sauce at most.... not Enfuego~

Now at the age of 21, Seymour's Summons, have casted-off their creature forms and took the forms of a human avatar, this was caused by the bonds they shared with their master.

although he's quite skilled at summoning, Seymour isn't done developing. Recently he's been able to feel the electrical currents running through electronics. Learning to summon and control electricity isn't the only current task he has. Seymour's been tinkering with the idea of having fusions of his avatars... (fire+wind=Fire Vortex.... Water+Fire=Cloak of Mist... earth+fire=Big Boom... so many possibilities)

Hero/Villain: Villain, indifferent when that becomes available as a moral alignment

Description: 5'11” brown hair and eyes. Generally wears nondescript clothing but prefers loose fit clothing and a heavily modified leather motorcycle jacket where more than a few surprises are hidden away. Spends his time either out with friends, tinkering with some new device, or working as a freelance operative for the AWI (Agency Without Initials). His work with the AWI has allowed him to meet a variety of people from all over the world and create a vast network of both evolved and normal contacts.

Having been gifted with a brilliant technical mind (he graduated from MIT with a myriad of advanced degrees in applied sciences), Jason has created numerous electronic, technological, and engineering marvels to aid him where his gravity bending skills are useless.

Power(s): Jason has access to a power known as Gravitakinesis or the ability to manipulate gravity and gravitation. He can increase, decrease, or even negate completely, the affect gravity has on himself and other objects. Thus, picking up a car and throwing it, jumping high into the air, or crushing someone into the ground can be accomplished easily. By strengthening the gravitational field between two objects, Jason can make them move towards each other, repulsion works by reversing the process. With this skill, he can perform such feats as the appearance of telekinesis or walking up walls.

One does one's humble--or not so humble, in my case--best.

You realize, of course, that with your character's gravitic control that if you could commandeer a space-worthy vessel that you could provide the acceleration without needing fuel since gravity is a directed acceleration field. For you, relativistic speeds and interplanetary travel are attainable. Would you like a private sanctum on Mars?

You should also be able to bend light, with enough power.

Some physicists theorize that gravity is actually leaked into this dimension from one of the other 11. You might also be able to pierce this barrier and open a gate to that other dimension....but I really wouldn't recommend that.

Description: Blaq is 6'0" 170 lbs with dread locks down to the middle of his back. He a coconut vendor, jet ski instructor and a part time spoken word poet. Never has been trained in any form of martial arts but is naturally athletic and quick thinking.

Power(s): Psychokinesis: The ability to move, lift and deform matter and objects. He is also able to levitate himself causing flight.

If he uses his powers for an extended period of time he needs a brief period of inactivity to recharge. If he exerts himself too much or tries to move an object or objects too heavy, he will slip into a coma.

Description: Not much is known of Joe Jaros early years as he keeps to himself and only prefers the company of an elderly man named Charlie. What is known is that he has an undying thirst for power and revenge against those of his past. He will stop at nothing and won't allow anyone to get in the way of his master plan.

Power(s):Joe can generate unlimited quantities of electricity. He is capable of creating electromagnetic fields and manipulating bioelectric currents in the brain. He knows he is capable of much much more but hasn't been pushed far enough to reach his full potential.
