Default Discuss the RPG Rules Here

OK, I didn't want to delete everyone's posts in this thread, so I'm just changing it to a discussion thread for the rules and the rpg in general.

You know, like telekinesis and telepathy would go together. Two powers that are related in some manner. Superstrength and superspeed would go together as well, because they both involve athletic enhancements. Just something like that.

Would acid generation go along with plasma manipulation?

Uh....plasma and acid? I would have to ask Mathy on whether or not the two are related in any way, but it sounds good to me. It actually really doesn't matter what our characters' powers are if we don't even start playing. This is my first stab at a forum rpg so I'm not entirely sure how to start us off.

Cool Re: Rules for the Heroes rpg

Unfortunately not. Acids are chemical compounds, of course, and "plasma" is superheated ionized gas. The two have not nearly enough in common to be related; thus, trying to combine those two would have to be disallowed.

Alright, there ya go. Sorry, Ikin. Judge Mathy has made his decision.

Cool Re: Rules for the Heroes rpg

Two mental abilities are typically allowed, because they are all so relatively close to one another in ability.
