It's about an alien sleeper cell (i.e. extraterrestrial terrorists) in Los Angeles assigned to gather information on human beings for an impending invasion. But one of them falls in love with a human woman and things get nutty. It's being produced by David Eick, who did "Battlestar Galactica", and is supposed to be a really abstract, groovy sci-fi series. At least, the original comic book was.
I've always liked alien invasion movies/shows, so when I heard about this, I just loved it instantly.
The only Them! I recall is a movie about a bunch o' larger-than-your-average-dog ants, and I was wonderin' how they'd make a series of it... I liked that flick, though, and movie-makers could probably do it some justice nowadays.

The gal from BSG'll be in it?
Well it has nothing do with the spider movie. It's based on a one-shot graphic novel (re: comic book) called "Six".
The girl from BSG plays a "sexy alien" (stereotype central!), and the girl from "Alias" and "The I Inside" Rachel Nichols plays the human love interest. The rest of the cast are made up of people I've never heard of. The male lead is a Brit.
