Re: Official Chapter 21 "The Hard Part" Discussion Thread
Just saw the ep and coming from the chat room.
So via the previews for next episode: Anyone notice that Sylar was dressed almost identical to the way Peter was dressed in the future when he confronted Peter?
Re: Official Chapter 21 "The Hard Part" Discussion Thread
Now that I think about it, I think that Sylar is ACTUALLY the one who blows up New York. I think that he makes peter think he did it with the Illusionary girls power.

Its that Sylar's mother is a bat-**** insane grade-A f'ed-up psychobitch yet he still loves her. Of course, Mama Petrelli is also a bat-**** insane grade-A f'ed-up psychobitch, but she hides her true colors with practiced skill while it should be obvious to anyone that Sylar's mother was destined to ruin her son's life.

Don't be so hard on Mrs. Gray. I suspect her husband left her and wasn't very pleasant when he was around, so she had only Gabriel for company.
She says that he'd told her he'd been travelling all over. Either he calls her regularly, send her postcards from the places he's been (collecting powers), or he's been lying to her. I doubt many watchmakers travel extensively.
I don't know how old Gabriel is, but he does realize you have to be 35 to run for President, right?

Re: Official Chapter 21 "The Hard Part" Discussion Thread
Didn't you notice teh way she subtly demeened her husband's job and his legacy? If Heroes was a porn movie, Mrs. Gray would be forcing her husband to watch her get gangbanged by overly endowed black men while insulting his penis size.
She appears to have a shrewish contempt for small "unimportant" jobs and insists that her son be "special." It isn't just that she wants her son to be happy or to be the best Gabriel he can be, she was trying to live vicariously through him. Her insistence that he become an investment banker isn't just the insistence of a loving mother who wants her son to be comfortable. He is obviously very uncomfortable with the idea. It is the insistence of a self-centered woman who wants to be able to brag about having a son who is a successful investment banker.
