I heard tale they're killing off a major character. I know Gwen Stacy is supposed to die like in the comics, but who knows what Raimi has up his sleeve. Plus, Mary Jane sure seems to have run her course...

Yeah, Gwen Stacy seems to be the logical choice to die. Although it'd be a bit disappointing since this will be her first appearance in the movies.

That's the thing. I don't know if Gwen's death would drive Spiderman to have that split personality and go "dark" via the black suit. But MJ's death would...
