Ok, so just finished watching the episode Company Man, and why the hell does Hiro's dad have Claire???? Is he part of this organization??? So does that mean he doesn't know about Hiro's power? cuz he would have to turn him in??? or was he doing the same thing Mr. Bennet was doing???? ahh too many unanswered question, I swear this is going to drive me insane!!!
I think that when Kaito came to retrieve Hiro because "Yamagato is failing" he was actually going to turn Hiro in to the AWI, but, like Whats-his-name-Bennet, his love for Hiro overcame his loyalty to the company.
i odnt know if he was going to turn him in or not. but i do think that Kaito knows of hiros power. I thought maybe he came back to get hiro so that the company wouldn't find him.
I just think it's strange how Hiro's dad seemed to be pretty clueless when we first met him. You'd think that he'd go to greater lengths to keep his son in check when he knows that Hiro has powers.
Maybe, he heard of what it was Hiro was up to and what he was claiming to be able to do (by way of spies or something), so he came to see for himself. But at this time Hiro's mental block is still in effect, so he demonstrated no form of power in front of his father. Maybe this convinced Kaito that his son had no ability, and was why he seemed to just give up and let Hiro go. At the time had Hiro been able to show his ability off, maybe the outcome would have been quite different and Hiro would've been turned in.

Maybe Hiro's father attributed his fantastical claim of superpowers to all the comic books he reads... and wrote it off as a fluke. 'Cause if any of Hiro's claims were true... he would have to take his Son in.
