You can Comment on Main Articles Now

Well originally I had set up the front page so you couldn't comment on the articles, but I've changed my mind and made it commentable. So now you can comment on the front page articles if you feel like it. You can also register an account to do this, or you can just keep typing your name everytime whenever you want to comment, it's up to you. But if you plan on commenting more than once, it's probably a good idea to register a name, since it would make the commenting stuff automatic, and you won't have to keep filling out the name/email part everytime.

Anyways, let me know what you think.

sounds good....although I fear some of the nut jobs here and their comments....although those nut jobs are mostly my friends!!!!

This is one of the reasons why I didn't open the article to comments in the first place. Even now, after, oh, a week of opening for comments, I've had to delete about half a dozen of them and edited another half dozen. Some people are just so damn crass and vulgar.

people in general have little class and the anonimity of the internet makes the problem worse for some. It is to bad that people have to be that way, but integrity is not something that our society is really pushing.

Is there no way to filter the language on the main pages like you do in the actual forums?

Nope. the comments are run through a plug-in to make sure they aren't spam, but it doesn't check for language. Then again I haven't really looked into it that much. I'll have to start searching...
