Apparently, Hiro also watches LOST, him mentioning the fish biscuits. Since this whole show is occurring during the months of October/November, that LOST show had to have aired recently in the HEROES time line. Come to think of it, that is also a bit of a spoof off LOST since they are living back in 2004-ish when the Red Sox just won the World Series....

Yeah, because Lost started on '04, and in their time, it's only been a few months. Of course, in real time, it's been almost 3 years.

Hiro, in October of 2006 (Heroes time) made a reference to a LOST show which aired in 2006. The LOST world is living in 2004, but Hiro (an apparent watcher of the show) watched the fish biscuit episode and placed it in his blog. Get it?

Lost made a reference of the Red Sox just wining the World Series. Hiro made a reference to JUST watching probably the most recent Lost episode (Airing in the past 2006) which discussed the fish biscuit. Heroes, to a lesser extent, was using the same time thing that Lost was using BY making a reference to an old LOST episode. (Right now it is the year 2007, but HEROES is stuck in 2006 and Lost is stuck in 2004.)
