We all know that Jessica is a badass with superstrength, but in the next episode we may find out Niki has some power of her own. I found this interview on youtube with Ali Larter on the Regis & Kelly show, and at the end of it there's a new clip from the upcoming episode. In the clip, Niki breaks a prisonguard's nightstick in half (I really doubt it could've been Jessica). The interview is more than 7 minutes long, and the clip doesn't come until the end, but I'm sure you guys won't mind waiting cuz you get to see Ali!
No, it's not Niki on her own. I slow-mo-ified that scene, and you can see that grim Jessica expression that Ali always personifies when she's her alter ego. As she's snapping the stick, she turns into Jessica for a split second, and then turns back into Niki. It's fast, but I'm pretty sure that's what happens.

She cant "control" Jessica, she has a split personality disorder i am pretty sure she has superstrength on her own but she also exhibits traits that answer why she hasnt realized yet, she sometimes is meek and insecure and scared, she is the opposite of jessica that is why she has never tried to fight back before. Also she doesnt even know she has superstrength she doesnt remember anything when jessica is in control.
Its jus another characterization like Issac with the heroin he was able to learn to paint the future without using the drug. Nikki will soon be able to "get rid" of Jessica at one point and be able to use her power on her own just like Issac has.
Look at everyhting we have seen in Heroes its a very down to earth show very realistic they arent going to turn aorund and then say oh Jessica is an evil spirit of her dead sister trapped inside nikki's body. They wont go too far out of the bounds of realism this is why i feel that its simply part of her character just like nathan has kind of resisted his own abilities.
It's gonna be harder for Niki to overcome Jessica than it was for Isaac to overcome his heroin addiction. At least Isaac didn't have to deal with a killer alter-ego.
Thats why it will take longer and she hasnt gotten any help yet either pscyhologically speaking but its still a characterization rather than some mystical spirit thing its jus a psychological problem.
Well, I wouldn't put it past them to making this a "Mitochondria Eve" (ie. Nikki has some of Jessica's internal organs or something, thus she's "inherited" her sister's power).
