Yeah, I have to say, I didn't think they could make it work. I mean, live-action transforming robots? But I'm glad it took them YEARS to get this thing made. All the R&D that went into making it look good all those years is sure to pay off. Say what you will about Michael Bay, but the guy knows how to make stuff blow up real good.

Shia, Josh Duhamel...I just really like this cast in general. I think this is definitely the right time to put out this movie.

I don't think they're actually from Mars. I know that's what was implied in the teaser, but IMO the transformers were only there cuz they were traveling through space, similar to how they ended up on Earth. However, if they do make it so they're from Mars, I'll be really pissed. They're supposed to be from Cybertron.

No they're not from Mars. I read that the writers say they ARE from Cybertron, and we MIGHT see Cybertron. But fear not, they're not going to willy nilly change the Transformers as coming from Mars.

Not sure. But from what I read, the Transformers have been on Earth for 100 years or something, they just never started fighting or such. Then again, I could have read wrong.
