Ghost Rider
Ok! Just saw a Ghost Rider trailer yesterday and, as I thought, this is going to be a must-see for me. I like Nicholas Cage and the movie looks like it is going to have a very...different...look for a Marvel film.
16 February for the release date. I am so there.

yeah it seems like its gonna be a pretty dark movie. The filming style from what i could tell by the previews, it kind of reminds me of the newest batman movie.

Yes, I did. I would've gone with Peter Weller, but then I'm not the director.
I saw one person's comment elsewhere that this movie was going to be just a Spawn rip-off. Whatever. This movie is well-made with a good plot, so it can't possibly be a Spawn rip-off.

Yes, but if the movie is well-made (X-Men, Superman Returns, Spiderman, Punisher) then you have a huge hit, making lots of money for the comic industry and bringing new fans into the fold.
Moderate hits (Fantastic Four, Daredevil, Batman Begins) won't make as many waves but do get some notice.
Unfortunately, the poorly-made films (Hulk--I like Ang Lee and the "24" split-screen, but the movie wasn't that good, Electra, Spwan) just make people roll their eyes and wonder why they spent money to go to the theater.
Last but not least are the ones that should not have been made, like Steel and Catwoman. Ick.

I agree with Mathy on this, even though I'm not totally sold on GR just yet. Although I do disagree on Batman Begins being a "moderate" hit. It made more money than The Punisher and it's just a better movie than any of the X-Men movies IMO.
