New Site, New Spoilers

Heads up folks, looks like the folks behind KryptonSite (the highly popular fan site for Smallville) are launching a Heroes site on Jan.01, 2007 called simply enough Hero Site - http://herosite.net

As a tease to what they're offering come launch we're treated with two small spoilers - the title for episode 14 and a picture of Niki/Jessica (yes, the split persona is still around come episode 14 and she looks to be out of prison) from said episode.

The title for episode 14 is "Distractions" and I put the pic up on my site because I don't like to hotlink to anyone elses site without their permission.

EDIT: Those guys are serious - looks like they bought some good adspace on Google adwords - I saw their banner at the top of this page in the Google spot.

Kryptonsite is great for Smallville stuff, but I never go there for the other tv shows they talk about.

Wait, so your saying CraigB isn't satisfied with running 9thWonders AND KryptonSite, he has decided to run a 2nd Heroes fansite? How is it going to be different from 9thWonders?

Yeah, he's claiming that 9th Wonders is more kinda "official"-ish for the general fans where herosite.net is geared towards hardcore fans who want spoilers and more specific information.

However, I can't compete with those guys - I'm running DS alone along with several other small sites and I just can't maintain that much current information alone (hence the help wanted ad on my front page). But these guys got the manpower, experience, and connections to pull it off - they even paid for an AdSense banner... I don't think it would take much for CraigB to pull 9thWonders fans over.

Just so you guys know, my loyalties are DS and here - I rarely post if at all anymore on 9W.

Don't mind me, I think I grabbed the whiney pill this morning.

The new design for Deveaux Society is almost ready to hit the information super highway. We're a little shy on some of the character profiles being pressed for time and all. But the overall design is pretty much good to go.

What I'd like to do is work with Sam on maybe some joint activities between our two sites. I know TV spoilers is a totally different animal than movie spoilers. But one of the kewl things that would happen a lot on Star Wars sites back before the PT was completed was that two or more sites would partner together. Then when they'd get an exclusive item the admins would share it with each other. Then they'd post it across each site in parts so you'd have to visit each site in the partnership to get the full context of the spoiler. Not sure how well this would work for Heroes, but it'd be something kewl to do in order to ban together.
