Episode Reviews/Discussions (POSSIBLE SPOILERS)For your take on the latest episodes, news on upcoming episodes, as well as your own reviews etc. BEWARE: THREADS MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!
I just read the new graphic novel issue on nbc.com and it's all about a new hero that's gonna be joining the show soon. Her name is Hana, and she looks like she's a badass. Not sure what her power is yet, but it'll probably be revealed in the next issue. She also seems to like guns.....
****, my fault for reading this spoiler I was reading the board name and saw a "New hero - hana" and since I already saw it might as well just read that post =P
Seems pretty awesome, but I hope they don't make her too overpowered, cause most shows lately are making the gunners the "superman" saving others and making the bad guy go away.
I really hope the author/whatever makes Sylar overpowered still, hes just so much like sephiroth.
I'd really love to see peter's brother (Forgot his name) in action too, he pulled off a good run-away with claire's dad and that black guy. (Sorry I dont know his name) and his face fits so much into his role play and his looks.
I hope the first half of season 2 goes slowly again

hmmm....very interesting.
I can't quite ascertain her ability given the graphic novel, either, but her intelligence analysis, strategic thinking, and physical skills will make her a formidable foe...or a useful ally.
I wonder how she'll fare against Jessica?
hmmm....her grandmother was a resistance fighter, her mother was a patriot, and both were killed by someone's suicide mission. Her psychological makeup will make her prone to manipulation; this is in addition to the standard limitations.
I still need to see her in action; once that happens, though, she can be adequately catalogued and countered.

The next part of Hana's saga has been released on the nbc site. Apparently, her main power (I say that cuz she looks like she might have something more) is:
SPOILER ALERT!! click this to show it -->
the ability to "see" all cyberspace. She can see things such as e-mails and text messages without having to use a computer. She can also use her ability to break encryptions.

Goodness, no--Hana's ability is nothing like Micah's. Rather, her power is a type of "electronic telepathy", a very complex communication technique broadcast in the radio and microwave frequencies (the common 5.4GHz for 802.11g devices). It is conceivable that she could read RFID tags, too. I wonder if she can read floppy, hard, or CD/DVD disks?

At this point I think explaining the heroes in "Heroes" off as "human evolution" (the show's crutch) is kind of a cheat. I mean, come on, what type of evolution in human beings would allow them to communicate with MACHINES?? Likewise with Hiro's powers.

This is exactly why I was dissatisfied with the show's explanation of powers as "genetic mutation". *yawn* We've been there and done that.
Perhaps you should check out my "Left-Hand Path" thread in Fan Fiction. I propose a different source of abilities...and will be adding to the stories there shortly.
