Hmm....that's an interesting question.... I voted no cuz I think him being the bomb seems too obvious. I believe that we're gonna be in for a surprise.
I believed he was the bomb but they are going to do something out-of-the-blue to stop it.
That little dream he had when he fainted told some clues, I think I predicted a "I am sorry!" from claire's mouth when she talked in that dream, and everyone except peter's brother avoids him, so they are going to do something to stop the bomb in peter, just don't know what.
Oh well, this is why I like this show, cause I can't predict the next events that well, the future events beat me ^^

If you review Peter's dream closely, you will notice that at the very end the energy being emitted flows back into him and he is standing back on the street just before the scene cuts away. Peter may indeed "explode", in the sense that he emits a lot of energy in a short amount of time, but doesn't necessarily die. The only person whose ability has this potential at this time is Theodore...I wonder where he is hiding at this point?
There is no evidence that Theodore can emit that much energy as of yet, but he is emotionally unstable to do so. Even if he couldn't, then perhaps Theo and Peter together could explode like a bomb. Or perhaps Gabriel and Peter together could.

I've been wondering where Teddy has been lately. He shouldn't be too difficult for cops to track down, since his powers leave huge traces of radiation everywhere he goes....oh well, back to the topic. I believe that no matter who is supposed to be the bomb, the heroes will find a way to stop and disprove Isaac's painting, for the first time ever.
I think its a possibiltiy that he could be. But i also agree that the writers probably have a different idea. But back to my idea. I think if peter stays in contact with someone for a long period of time he can use there powers. It eventually dissapears after a length of time though. Everyone has gathered peter is an empath. Which is good in a certain way but also bad. He reminds me a bit of Rogue's character in xmen. Maybe in a later story arc he can do the same thing.

Theodore also emits a great deal of heat, evidenced by the crispy nature of his victim (complete carbonization of the flesh, easily beyond even 5th-degree burns) and the scorch marks in their house. I agree--he would be easy to track (just follow the trail of destruction).

I've always thought Teddy Bear is going to be the bomb. No offense to Peter but he doesn't strike me as the blowing-up kind of person.
My thought is that Ted may be hiding some where building up his energy. I think he absorbs all kinds of energy and can release it in different states. Maybe Ted is hiding away in some industrial complex gathering energy in heat form. I think he's been plotting the destruction of New York ever since he escaped. Then again i'm insane.

I can't say whether or not you are insane, but Theodore most likely is. He was the cause of his wife's terminal cancer; that knowledge would push just about anyone over the edge. Look at what it did to Dr. Manhattan....
