Avatars and Sigs and Theme

Okay, I finally figured out why the avatars and sigs aren't showing. THE THEME I'M USING DOESN'T SUPPORT IT. So I've reverted the site to its default setting. What do you think? Should I keep it like this or revert it back to the custom template?

how do you put one up?
i go to the edit avatar thingy, but i don't see the option of putting up my own.

In the Avatar editing page, you should see the "Custom Avatar" box way at the bottom. You can upload an avatar from your harddrive or point to the URL where the avatar is. The forum will then take the avatar and store it on the forum server for you. Or you can use the default avatars.

Right now it's just showing me the default avatars.

You guys are right. I just updated the privileges and you should now see a "custom avatar" option. Try again.

Tried the sig again, same problem. The address shows up instead of the pic. (Like being able to spoiler tag it now though) I did notice that at the bottom on the list of codes and whatnot that are allowed, the IMG tag is not allowed while changing sigs. The button at the top of the message window is missing also, while here in the forums, the button is there. Maybe the IMG tag is disabled just in signatures?

yeah, what I thought. Just must not work on signatures.

One more little thing, which actually I need to double check, but thought I'd mention first, while I was running netscape as firefox, right clicking in the message box brought up a rather wierd menu list, things like play and forward and backward, but missing the usual copy and paste. When I switched it to IE, it went back to the normal one. I'll double check that and repost in a sec.

Rechecked the IE-FF message box thing, menu's are different. The FF menu has things like forward, backward, bookmark page(just took a screencap so I would know for sure), things you would get for any page in general, but not for the message box. While small, I'm sure it will put some people into fits if they're using FF and trying to copy and paste anything(like web addresses for pictures). I don't even know if you can do anything about that, just thought I'd give you a heads up while you're still tweaking.

Try the signature now. I've just updated the privileges again.
