Default how many episodes are filmed already?

I would like to know how many episodes are already filmed, anybody knows?

Since Zach, is already making plans for terminator the series, I would like to know if he finish with heroes first, or he had to "quit" because "terminator". If he had to quit, then... At least he ends the first season with heroes???

Well, Greg Beeman's blog (Link HERE) usually talks about this topic. One of his first blogs said that when we were watching episode 2, they had just finished shotting on episode 6 or 7. In his latest blog, he talks about how hard it is to air 11 episodes straight.

Most 1 hour shows on TV shoot for eight shooting days… more or less 10 working days. A new episode airs every 7 days. The math of all this catches up to you, until there’s less and less time per episode to edit, do music and sound effects and visual effects. Add to that the fact that HEROES usually shoots for 10 or 12 days and it gets even worse.
Given this information, one can do the math and figure out how far ahead they are right now. Greg Beeman is one of the directors for the show, BTW.

Yeah, it must be tough to do 11 in a row.

But they can always be glad they aren't working on LOST. 16 episodes straight (one of which is 2 hours). I guess that's why they're already on episode 12 or 13.

Okay, now that more info is available they are finishing up filming episode 14. This comes from Greg Beeman's latest blog entry Hiatus 1

He was talking about Monday, Dec 11th. Also, compare that to the previous quote I listed. They might be finished filming episode 14, but with everything that needs to be added post-filming it makes sense that it might've been hard for them to get episode 12 out to us this past Monday.
