WTF is up with his 1980's new wave bangs? Is that supposed to be the, "S" that we see in everything i.e. the "S" tatted on nikki's back?

like with Ted and Matt's tatoos on their necks (except its of two lines). |

I think it was mentioned/cleared up by Matt a while back that the "S" is how HRG marks you. I'm also guessing that that's how he keeps in touch with them; it probably acts as a beacon or something he can track with spy satellites or whatnot.

I read an interview with the actor who plays Peter and he hates his hair too. He said the fact that it is always in his eyes is annoying.
