The Cast/Crew of "Heroes"What's going on with the cast and crew of "Heroes" within and outside of the show. Their side projects, individual appearances, etc.
The beauty of this for him is that he just flies over, films a few episodes, then goes home again. If they need his character for something afterwards he just phones it in and they can dub the dialog over a shot of an empty chair.
Viola, Invisible Man! And very visible paycheck. Clever concept for an actor known not to stick around in one role very often (e.g. Dr. Who).
He was a very enjoyable Dr. Who, by the way. Pity he bailed out after only one season, he's the kind of actor who could beat the Dr. Who typecasting regardless of how long he played the part.
Trivia: The original actor who played the very first Invisible Man? He was named Claude, which is also the name of this character.

Of course! If you're careful not to be too odiferous (take a shower, please) and you are reasonably stealthy, then your ability to act as a scout is unparalleled. You can also sneak into enemy headquarters/secret lairs with ease. Sneaking past motion sensors and cameras is a snap.
Technically, if your invisibility is a result of being transparent to the visible spectrum then lasers cannot spot you, either. Or damage you, for that matter.
If you can make object invisible with you, then you and your invisible gun (or billy club, or staff, or whatever) can knock out (or kill, if that is your character) enemies without being detected.
It does have drawbacks--no sneaking in sand, snow, mud, puddles, or rain. Dogs can smell you, of course. Those with hypersensitive hearing could find you. erm...some people can make only themselves invisible, so clothing might be optional.

That is what made Unbreakable such a great movie, even if it is Shaymalan's weakest one to date. The hero had a mentor...even if the mentor turned out to be not what the hero expected. To this day, Mr. Glass remains an extremely intriguing character to me.
