I watched the first movie again over the weekend. Sam Raimi really did leave himself enough room in the plot to leave doubt as to who really shot Ben. I was worried that the whole "we have new information about your uncle's shooting" was a weak plot fiat.
I'll have to keep an eye out for Bruce Campbell's cameo in the third installment, as well.

Cast: Ioan Gruffudd (Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic), Jessica Alba (Susan Storm/Invisible Woman), Michael Chiklis (Ben Grimm/The Thing), Chris Evans (Johnny Storm/Human Torch), Doug Jones (The Silver Surfer), Julian McMahon (Doctor Doom), Andre Braugher (General Hager), Kerry Washington (Alicia Masters), Beau Garrett (Frankie Raye)
Cast Notes: (9/6/06) The Silver Surfer will be a CGI character, but Doug Jones, who played (with CGI help) Abe Sapien in Hellboy, is involved with the production as the actor who will be the basis of the CGI character of the Silver Surfer (source: director Tim Story's MySpace blog).
I dont know if he'll have a huge part cause i was undre the impression silver surfer was going to be the main baddy (besides the HIS boss, galactus).
Premise: "The Fantastic Four meets their greatest challenge yet [as] the enigmatic, intergalactic herald, The Silver Surfer, comes to Earth to prepare it for destruction. As the Silver Surfer races around the globe wreaking havoc, Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben must unravel the mystery of the Silver Surfer and confront the surprising return of their mortal enemy, Dr. Doom, before all hope is lost." (quoted from official premise)
Premise Notes: (9/6/06) Some of the new details being added to the series with this sequel are the introduction of the Fantasticar (a flying car, often shown as a convertible in the comics with detachable seats/parts), more development in the relationship between Ben Grimm and Alicia Masters, and a new costume and mask for Doctor Doom which is more faithful to his traditional appearance in the comics
