I don't think it'll matter what Hiro's father does anyway, cuz Hiro will just stop time or teleport before he can be kidnapped.

I love George Takei. Not only was he great in Star Trek, but he is the official "voice" of Howard Stern and is always great on his show.

Well he could just be one of those parents who are overprotective of their kids and doesn't understand their power or he could be the real linderman and doesn't want to be revealed in any way...
