While not the best, I can't wait til I get a Wii. Graphics for the PS3 are friggin sweet, but in a few years it'll be dated, like everything always is. If I want good graphics, I tend to shy away from consoles for that reason, and stick with the trusty computer. While I don't think the gameplay for the Wii will be quite what Nintendo makes it out to be, it will definitely be something different and a nice change to the same ol controller.
Plus, who can beat Zelda? And Snake in Smash bros.!

i also agree, the wii is the console that interests me, it seems like its taking gaming in a new direction
for sick graphics, etc ive got a computer, that i try to keep up to date
besides for the ps3 to be worthwhile i would need to get a better tv, im not gonna go down that road, i rather just upgrade the comp.
WSAD and mouse all the way

I don't have a gaming system, either, but then that is what the computer is for...when I'm not actually *gasp* working on something important.
Besides, since dual-core processors are the "hot" thing now, coupled with the facts that the technology will increase and the price will decrease over the next 6 months, I'll just buy a new computer rather than a console. A smart manufacturer will begin including a console-compatible drive in the computer so that you can buy X-box or PS games and play them on the computer. They might as well--consoles are nearly computers, anyway, since most of them can be connected to modems for Internet access. *shrug*

I have the Wii and I LOOOOOOOVE it! I would like to have an Xbox 360 as well, but Sony can suck my big toe...they are always overpriced considering the lesser quality of their systems. Xbox has the best graphics & Wii is the most fun to play. Playstation 3 has better graphics than Wii, but I guarantee those things will need repair in about six months...probably sooner. I love the superior quality of Nintendo...plus. the price is always right. Oh yeah...the new Zelda is freakin' AWESOME! That tells ya where I've been. hehehe

I was wondering where you'd been, supergroovymama.
Well...it would be only a matter of having the hardware necessary to read the PS3 or X-Box disc and the software to render the graphics. Most current video cards could handle the rendering, so that leaves just the hardware. hmmm....I know PS3 uses Blue-Ray....
