I caught the last 45 minutes of Daybreak purely by accident and wow, I really like it! Taye Diggs is very good and the show has definite potential, although I don't know how many times they can do the episodes differently. I mean, he wakes up on the same day over and over. Still good, though.

Yes, he is an accomplished actor. The premise has been covered before (or maybe you didn't see Groundhog Day) but not in this format.
It seems like networks are simply throwing out shows and hoping something sticks these days. *shrug* Is "The Nine" still on? Is "Six Degrees" still on?

Me, too! I love that show! It was so original and just downright cool. One of those major geek factors involved, too. The whole concept -- man, that was something. But the last few years, when they introduced Kari Wuhrer's character, the show really went to heck and back. Plus, don't even get me started on Jerry O'Connell's brother playing his brother. Ergh.

Did you see the part where he wakes up in a puddle of blood... I wonder if he can actually wake up with something else... like a video tape or something from prior events. Granted he wakes up to the same day over and over (like Groundhog Day)... but the third day... was different... 'cause that was the morning he woke up with the bullet wound from his previous escapade. Interesting!
I enjoyed it!! Taye Diggs is S-E-X-Y!! Hehehe!!! 8) ggrrrr baby!!

i really didn't think it was going to be good.
but, whoa, it was kick-aass!
so good!!!!!!!!
i love this show and taye diggs rocks that role.
it's got a hint of prison break because of the conspieracy/ framing thing
but the rest is pretty original.
i hope it doesn't get canceled.

Could be he brought his bullet wound back with him because it became a part of him, as it were, like his memories. I don't think it would make sense if they allowed him to bring things back from the previous day with him, since then there would be "two" of them, or three, for four, depending on how many times he kept coming back with the same thing. Then again, trying to make "sense" of a show with this kind of concept is pretty silly.
The episode last night was really awesome. I always thought the show would be good, but I didn't expect it to be that good. I like how there are serious consequences for everything he changes when he restarts the day. It's a great concept for a tv show.
