I have love for TNG and Voyager. I like a good deal of DS9, and I watched much of the first 2 Seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise. For old school, the Trouble with Tribbles was hilarious and they had a few good episodes but I'm not a huge fan, although the rest owe their lives to that show.
The best episode of TNG was when Picard got captured and was tortured by the Cardassians. I remember the end of that two parter when he says something along the lines that he actually started seeing the number of lights the Cardassian wanted him to see. Maybe the best episode ever IMO for the ST franchise was DS9, when Sisko was recounting in his journal/report the trying to fool the Romulans into going to war against the the Dominion, but things got messy and in the end they had to kill a Romulan, to which at the end of the show he erases his confession. Voyager, any episode with Seven of Nine.

Melinda Snodgrass wrote that episode. Notice that the Betazoid has red hair, is fully telepathic, and finds a telepathic spaceship. This was a rehash of her Wild Card character Dr. Tachyon (who was a red-headed telepath with a telepathic spaceship).
