WE WILL BE MOVING SOON!
I am currently doing trial runs moving the forum from phpbb over to vb. Right now it's just practice, but it looks like things are going pretty well. Don't worry, when the time comes for me to move everything over, I will momentarily shut down this forum to keep new posts from being created, as I move everything over to the vb. Then I will leave behind a re-direct over to the new forum, but after that it will be your responsibility to update your bookmarks.
Thanks for your patience, and I hope the move will benefit everyone. |

http://www.heroestheseries.com/vb/index.php Don't post in it, though, but feel free to look around. I fubar the user list transfer, which is why the forum thinks it has twice as much the members. That is easily fixed, but for now let's pretend I didn't mess that up. The forum is currently in its default look. I'm currently looking for new themes to put on it. Give me your thoughts, etc. |

I'm trying to mimic the look of the phpbb with the new vb forum. What do you guys think? Should we keep the same "look" or go for something completely different?

I don't know if it is a possiblity, but at another tv show forum i lurk at, they use spoiler buttons for hiding info. That way, if someone doesn't want to see spoilers, they need only not click on the button. I think as the population on the forum grows, we might need a system of hiding info for the people that don't want to see it. Plus, the button works as a nifty way of saving bandwith if you put pictures behind it, that way the boards arent swarmed by pictures, you only see them if you click the button.
I dont know if you could do that, but it might be a good idea for down the road.
