Default Do you believe in a God?

I know this is kind of a serious question but I am doing a project for school. I am making a poll on how many people do and don't. Also if you could, give some reasons so I can have a good idea. Again, if this angers, insults, or makes you uncomforatable, I am sorry.

I do. Born 'n raised roman catholic, that should explain a lot. I believe because of my faith, plain and simple. Blind trust, if you will, which is a little odd since I'm a doctor and I don't believe anything in medicine until I have seen it firsthand, or it comes from a legitimate source. Interesting dichotomy, but it works for me. Plus, I have some other smaller reasons, which i prefer to keep private.

Yes.

It's easier for me to believe in God, than to believe that the universe, and especially the grand diversity of life on this planet came to be by random chance.

Ah, good ol' Occam's Razor. If were doing this for a poll, put me down for that explanation too. I've debated with it a couple of times.

I believe in God to an extent. Let me elaborate. I do believe that there is something out there, a higher intelligence if you will, one that we cannot comprehend. Though I do not think of it in a he or she kinda way or even a physical manifestation, just a being with unlimited power and intelligence. I dont subscribe to any denomination of religion however.

Superman's creators were Jewish, if you recall.

No, I do not. God and I parted ways years ago over differences in opinion.

Strangely enough, I have always maintained an interest in comparative mythology and theology, and have studied those topics.

Also, my current philosophy of applying Godel's Incompleteness Theorem to the axiomatic system that is the Universe allows for the possiblity of God to exist, along with other supernatural phenomena. "There are thing that are true which are unprovable using the laws of physics" and all that jazz.

So are you saying that you don't care for a God or you don't believe in a God at all?
