Default Stars and Guest Stars

Several of the major characters in the series are referred to in the credits as "guest stars" implying that their characters are temporary. These people include Eden, HRG, and Peter's wife. Any others?

So, what does this mean? I would like to think that HRG could become a continuing character, sort of a government contact (assuming he is in fact in the government) for the heroes.

It has been stated before, I believe in the forum dealing with the Cast and Crew, that HRG (played by Jack Coleman) has been signed as a full-time character starting with episode 13 or so. This has all been discused before, and guest stars just means that if they become more vital to the story they will get a pay raise (Series regular money). If not, they can continue playing the role until they get sick and tired (Or until TPTB decide it serves no further purpose) and TPTB will write off or around that character.

TPTB = The Powers that Be

Edit: Actually I'm planning to move this thread over to the Cast/Crew of "Heroes" since that is what is being discussed in this thread. I'll wait a few minutes before I do that however.

Peter doesn't have a wife. I think you're probably talking about Nathan.

Nathan has a wife... and judging by what I've read so far... she's supposed to have some type of physical disablity...
