is our life over or does destiny have something else in mind
Hi everyone, I've never posted a topic before because I never needed to before. Everyone has obviously seen "Heroes", but before Heroes came out, did anyone ever question their exsistance and wonder why they always felt so out of place no matter where they were or who they were with? Did the people around you think you were just being rude but you really felt like you should be doing something else with your life, somehow bettering the world, and i don't mean recycling, not that it is a bad thing to do. I have seen the world falling down around us and no one is changing anything, just making it worse. what they predict to happen in the show isn't too far from the truth, nuclear war, But our world isn't meant to be destoryed like that. This may sound crazy and this is why I am unsure if i should ask, but i will. Since the show has started, has anyone out there felt "different", like their destiny is not yet fulfilled, and your not sure what it is, but you feel it in every bone though your body and it will eat you up inside until you know, but you don't mind waiting and at the same time it is killing you to know. I was adopted when i was 1 or 2 but my adoptive parents would never tell me who my birth parents were and there isn't even any record of them that i have found to this date. You, me, this planet, and everything in it was created from something that no one can explain, is it to hard to believe that our destiny in life could be just short of amazing and everything, just some of us, could ever imagined? I hope some of you feel this way out there, but i don't expect anyone to believe me, but it would be nice if some people felt the same way. If aliens are real, this stuff can't be to far from the truth. Thanks for reading my post

Everyone wants to be more than they are and to find out who they really are. The first several steps on The Path are really, really difficult, especially since you have to find out where the next several steps are yourself. Don't let the Dark Night of the Soul blind you unnecessarily.
Let me console you with one thought though--the world has apparently been on the brink of destruction before (many times, in fact) and yet it is still here. Don't fear the "end of the world"; rather, look to "the morning after the end".

I always look to the brighter side of any subject, but stange things seem to of happened in the past couple years that imply a big change to come. A little while ago, california got snow, and just last week a tornado hit new england in a town it's never hit before, the winters are warmer with less and less snow, but more rain, and talk of going back to Korea and worrying about their nuclear weapons(yes they have them also). Politicians have become more greedy and poor people get poorer with less options each year, and of course, Area 51, which is real. There are things in this world that have been discovered and no one will tell us the straight details and we, socity, don't know exactly what those things are, but others do. I believe there is more to life than we know, and others do know, but will not tell us. I don't focus on bad things, but to believe that there could be something more than just exsisting in this world, is enough to live for right there. Have you seen this also or have you turned your head when you should have been looking forward? The world has survived through alot, but it can only handle so much abuse before it becomes just another planet, or nothing. thanks for listening.

It appears as if you have a lot on your plate.
Kurt Godel, a mathematician, proved back in the 1930s that in any axiomatic system there are theorems in that system which are true but cannot be proven using the axioms alone. What does that mean? If you classify the Laws of Physics as "axioms" then there are, according to Godel, thing in the universe (the axiomatic system) that are true which cannot be proven using only the Laws of Physics alone.
The US Government has never denied the existence of Area 51, near Groom Lake. The research conducted there is highly classified, however. There is too much hype surrounding that place to discern any truth other than "there is a classified installation there which is very difficult to approach".
Past events do not portend future events. You imply future events based on the past but there is mere speculation and interpretation, nothing more.

I think everyome feels that way, I know I have felt that my entire life, but I don't let it rule me. I just live my life day to day and if there is an opportunity to do a good deed, I step up. I like to think that we are all meant to serve a higher purpose than the daily grind, in fact, I believe the daily grind is holding civilization back from evolving the way we are supposed to by keeping us so concentrated on the trivial things in life. You just have to keep yourself centered enough to be able to do both. Do what you must to survive, but at the end of the day meditate & open your mind to the deeper parts of this life. Everything will fall in place as it is meant to. Keep yourself prepared for anything in the meantime, but not to the level of paranoia.

it is holding us back from seeing that things need to change before it's too late, however, money talks and theories walk. No one ever pays attention to the small important things in this world that could change things for the better. A weird thing with me is that I have never had an urge to have money in my pocket, I don't believe it is the key to staying alive or being happy, obviously its important because in order to live, you need it, but the world was not always like this and we all know that. "Past events do not portend future events. You imply future events based on the past but there is mere speculation and interpretation, nothing more." I beg to differ on this one. In my times, I am not a psychic, but i have predicted and guessed many things to happen, hours, even years before they happen, and I am right, down to the shirt I am wearing in the dream. I have witnesses that have seen this happen and so "speculation and interpretation" doesn't apply to me. I would like to think everything is going to be ok, but mother nature makes the choices for us and since "dinosaurs" weren't very likely to exsist with us, they got wiped out. So it is possible to piss off our creator and then he/she can say bye-bye to us too. everyday at the end of it, I do try to meditate and understand what what this world wants from me but with no real signs, it becomes hard to stay so comminted to something that doesn't respond back. Supergroovymama, I like the way you think and i believe we are on the same page. Thanks for reading my posts, everyone, and thanks for giving input, i do feel alone sometimes in this world not knowing if others share my views or close to them. Thats all i got for now, until next time... 8)
I think we create a reality around us which we use to help us cope with our surroundings. If we really want something to happen whether good or bad, we will make it happen somhow. If we want something to happen but cannot cope with the consequences or the mere existence of it then it will only occur to the point that is is tolerable. There are those stories of people who were healed through prayer -- it would seem that the people who truly prayed and wanted the sick person to get better were able to make it so as well as the sick person wanting to get better -- there are also those who want to get better but also don't want to and stay sick until they decide one way or the other and then there are those who dont' want to get better and stay sick until their body can't take it and pass away or pass away instantaneously. For wanting something more than what we have, I find that there is no problem wanting to be able to do more or learn more but everyone has their own limits and if we keep going for things that we cannot attain, then it makes a fool out of us. If we strengthen our weaker points and maintain our strong points then we cannot ask to be any more if we achive all that we can with what we have...

To fight evil one must know evil. For as our good actions reflect in our actions, evil resides in the darkest part of our souls.
I understand what you are saying, but just like certain laws having to be broken to help someone in need, so is the desire to push past the limits of our strengths and achieve something great, that, in a sense, is the same way that world records get broken. There is something deep inside of us that needs to be unlocked, but the beholder never has the key. It is normally something discovered through tough times and hard-ache, when the human spirit should of quit, it keeps going, and that is what makes someone stronger and discover that if this task is possible, who knows what else could happen. There is no doubt that a positive attitude and hope can get you through tough times, because faith is something that not too many people have left in them, and i don't mean going to church. People always lose those childhood dreams and never look back, but could you imagine what your life could be like if you thought of those same childhood dreams in your daily life now. Of course not, its absurd, not normal, you have to grow up and realize that life is harder than a dream, these are some of the things people would say to you told them about your childhood dreams. You would be surprised how many people out there do still think this way and want to believe in something again.
"If we want something to happen but cannot cope with the consequences or the mere existence of it then it will only occur to the point that is tolerable" This is not true. Whether people want to admit it or not, our life is not ours to live, someone or something has chosen our destiny for us, and when we don't listen to our gut instinct, that's when things go wrong in our lives and we cannot control the outcome. We, as humans, were not created for some cruel practical joke or to ruin things, we are suppose to create things and advance. If people take the time to have faith in something, something greater than ourselves, it is possible to achieve that which you most desire.

Where are you going with this? You started this with a lot of questions and seemed to be someone who was looking for answers to life's questions. Now you have turned a corner and are now beginning to give answers to questions that you have posed now that people have given you a platform from which to respond. So....the only question that remains is what is your goal with this post?
