I noticed that the 9th Wonder Boards have this and it has made things pretty convenient for me.
The RSS can be for news, new posts, or for anything else.

For those of you who don't know what RSS is, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS_(file_format)

Phpbb is not very good with RSS feeds. I've been trying to find ways to do it for a while now...

Can someone explain RSS for dummies like me? That wikipedia article didn't help very much.

It's more for blogs and news sites and stuff like that. When you subscribe to RSS, you see the website's name in your toolbar (under the address box or something). Everytime there is a new blog post, a new piece of news, or a new post, it will show that under the RSS.

Those are the most recently updated threads on the 9th Wonders Boards, for example.

Currently you can RSS the main page, but not the board. Once we upgrade to VB sometime later this year (or possibly early next year), RSS should be a lot easier.
