Wow, guys, I can't believe we actually have over 400 members on this forum! You know, when I first started this, I didn't think we would have more than 100 members. "Surely," I thought, "NBC's official sites would cream us every which way." But wow, over 400 members! Which lead me to this thought: we should really do something special when (and if) we reach 1,000 members. (I know, I'm daydreaming here, but it COULD happen!)

I don't know what I would do, but HOPEFULLY Heroes will be on DVD by then, and maybe I can buy some box sets and give them away. I still don't know how I would do that (or what I would give away if the DVDs aren't available then), but I'm thinking about it.

What do you guys think? How should we mark the 1,000 member occassion if we ever cross it?

Well, I pretty accurately deduced when we would hit 150 members, so I am going to tempt fate and say we'll hit 1,000 members before the 22nd episode airs. We hit 150 members 1-2 days before the first episode aired on NBC. We now have close to 450 members as I type this. That's almost 300 members in a little over 4 weeks! Some 650 new members in 16-17 weeks doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility. *Crosses fingers, hoping I didn't jinx it* If that is the case, we won't be able to get a DVD boxed set for quite a while. Hopefully NBC will find something to sell around Christmas time dealing with Heroes (Comic books? Pins? Posters?)

Hopefully we'll get some kind of DVD soon after the first season ends. I remember the Battlestar Galactica ones coming out pretty fast. I think they were releasing them even before the seasons were over! I'd love to give something GOOD back to you guys for making the site and forum what it is.
