What's The Black Guys Power and what is he doing to the cop?

Man. I feel freaked out for the Telepathic cop. He's just tied down to this table and this black "hero" freak comes over and begins to suck his mind of him!!!

What the heck is the black guy's power? who is he? good? bad? ugly? j/k...

This is another area where you can't really tell. But... if they really wanted to kill Matt... they would've done so. I don't think they were sucking his brain dry... but they left that cliffhanger out there... so we really don't know. Claire's Dad could've meant to just clear Matt's memory... of him being strapped down on a table... and being probed for more answers. The mysterious man was able to block Matt's ability to read his thoughts in the bar... and he did it again in with Claire's Dad. Matt tried to read his mind but was unable to... because of the mysterious man. Claire's Dad also admits to drugging him at the bar so that they kidnap him for more observation. But for a split second... Matt is able to penetrate through the mental wall around Claire's Dad... and is able to pick up a thought of Claire. Sooo... this leads me to believe... that Claire's Dad is trying to gain more information to learn more about his daughter... make sense?

Its just a thought... my thoughts to be exact... LOL!

hmmm. could be. but i think it's more than just HRG trying to get more info. I think he's with an orginization that is either pro or anti mutant/hero. just can't tell yet!

i think the black guy is a null point, he blocks others powers, easiest answer i can thnk of.

i think that claire's dad knows all about everyone's potential, just not what they will use it for. thats why we don't know if he's evil or good at the moment.

the black guy is the opposite of peter. wouldnt a fight between those two be weird. cuz peter would get the ability to block the black guys power of blocking powers!

i believe his power is the ability to control peoples thoughts. i havent rewatched the episode yet, but i think claire's dad said something to the affect of the black guy clearing matt's memories of the event.

He is most likely another telepath. Not only can Matt not read the black guy's mind (mind block), he can shield other people's minds telepathically, although obviously not perfectly.

They are neither "good" nor "bad".

Yeah i think he's a telepath too. He said to wipe the memory or whatever then Matt said "who's claire". So HRG tells the guy "its more progressed than we thought, go deeper" (or something like that, i'll go back and watch it again). Kinda makes sense, HRG just tells him to go deeper to make sure matt doesn't remember anything cause his powers are stronger than they had originally expected.
