Currently at the NBC HEROES site, they have the slowly-blinking text, "Save the Cheerleader...Save the World." That doesn't necessarily mean Claire, does it? I guess they wouldn't refer to Jackie, though. Does that mean Claire is the key to saving the world (at least this time), and if she's not saved, then in the HEROES 'verse, people are doomed? Is that just a mantra for tonight's episode?

Related: I adapted the "scroller" script and added the logo, just for fun, to make a basic HEROES page with the StCStW mantra.

The two may not be related, except for the fact that both need saving.

Now that we know that it is possible to incapacitate Claire, anyone could do it at any time. She could indeed need saving at some point.

Preventing the explosion in New York will save the world. A nuclear explosion would most likely result in planetary catastrophe (as in war).

In the preview i remember Peter saying something about a cheerleader being in trouble (or no one is helping her or something like that) while looking at one of Isaacs paintings....

Side note about cheerleaders...This just popped into my head when you mentioned something about jackie. do you think that the writers at some point will send sylar after jackie? Perhaps he heard the news of "her heroic deed" and figured anyone who could do that must be someone he's interested in? I think that'd be a good little story

lol. Honestly, I think it's kinda funny what she did. Besides, it's not like Claire wanted credit for saving that guy from the fire. I doubt that the whole "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World" involves Jackie though.

lol i really don't want Jackie to die or anything, she just annoys me. But really she acted like a shallow highschool girl. And if they wanted to they coudl even spin it that she somehow new about claire and knew she didn't want to be known. i would think its a stretch but, hey, its TV. But if the "save the cheerleader" refers to anyone but claire...that is weak sauce. Mysteries for the sake of drama/fun/intrest cool, mystery for the sake of one more mystery...LAME. (kind of the way i feel LOST is heading personally, but hey...its heading there with style)
