I love the future telling comic book... Especially with the lady on the Plane...

I also saw the squiggly on claire's book and on mohinder's dad's book cover also on DL's necklace...

It seems like the S is nothing more than a reference to DNA and an identifier that just means that the person it is associated with is a hero. I was hoping for something deeper, but it didn't seem like it this episode.

I thought the black guy in the bar was Sylar for a moment, until I saw the previews and realized he's working with Horned Rimmed Guy (aka Claire's dad). Wonder where Claire is -- morgue getting autopsied? Must be, because the previews show her getting revenge on the football Captain, so if Dad had her, he wouldn't let her go like that.

my thoughts
So...umm did we just see sylar suck out Matt's (the cop) power in the bar? Peter's brother is a jerk. Hiro is awesome, and totally needs a costume, but only him. LOTS of "s" symbols again (on Claire's biology book, Mohinder's dads published book, the necklace of the man in the bar{sylar??}). what else...oh man, can't believe the did the rape thing

I liked the scene between Claire and her friend (missed his name again damnit), when he tried to convince her she was special; she brought up a very interesting point with perhaps just a touch of the foreshadowing about the experimentation…she doesn’t embrace her powers. And it seems that the heroes are divided into the two camps. Those that embrace their powers: Peter, Hiro, Isaac, the cop; and those who do not: Claire, Niki (maybe), Nate. I like the dichotomies they have going on in the show.

Hiro and Ando’s trip is pretty sweet.

Syler and the cop and FBI chick, that was a great scene, I don’t get why she didn’t shoot, she was well within her rights to just empty her gun into him the first chance she got, and logic dictates that what the cop did was the smart move.

Also, the last scene, w/ Claire…wow, freaking awesome.

I thought it was funny to see Claire's reaction to where she was. Made me chuckle. I agree that the politician is a jerk. I think the story needs just a little bit of higher pace. Seems slow overall. Overall, though, this show is pretty darn good. Can't wait til the connections are made.
